How do you announce next gen tech?  Action. Movie. Trailer.

 

The Situation -

When Intel was ready to announce their new 45nm chip technology, they wanted to reach out first to a group that put their hardware through its paces - video content creators.  

The Solution -

  • Work with Ogilvy Public Relations and Intel to position Intel as the primary sponsor at an independent content creator awards event in LA.

  • Create an action movie trailer featuring the new tech from Intel.

  • Premiere the trailer at the awards event across a 30 foot movie screen to a standing ovation from the crowd.

  • Follow up in the social media realm - super distributing the video across multiple sharing platforms and continuing the conversation with the content creators that Intel is targeting.
